🏈 Lady Knights Flag Football Fundraiser Announced — Community Invited to Support the Team’s Championship Run

The Lady Knights Flag Football Team is hosting a special community fundraiser on June 11th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at The Sports Page Bar & Grill in Knightdale. The event is proudly hosted by Councilman Grady Bussey and aims to rally support for a team that has transformed from last place to undefeated contenders.

Guests are invited to come out, enjoy great food, and help empower these young athletes as they push toward a national tournament appearance. All proceeds from the evening will directly support the Lady Knights’ continued growth, travel needs, and competitive journey.

The team has become a standout story in the community — a group of determined athletes who have worked tirelessly to rise through the ranks and represent Knightdale with pride. This fundraiser is an opportunity for families, supporters, and local businesses to stand behind them as they chase their next milestone.

A donation QR code is available for those who wish to contribute even if they cannot attend. Every contribution helps fuel the Lady Knights’ momentum.

LADY KNIGHTS 3–5 grade CHAMPIONS 

FROM THE GROUND UP. 

Most of these girls had never even played flag football before this season… and NOW LOOK AT THEM!!! CHAMPIONS!!

What started as learning how to pull flags, line up correctly, and believe in themselves turned into teamwork, confidence, toughness, sisterhood, and HARD WORK paying off. Every practice, every missed flag, every lesson, every laugh, every tear… it built THIS moment.

These girls proved that you do not have to start experienced to become GREAT. You just have to be willing to learn, trust your coaches, trust your teammates, and keep showing up. As coaches, we could not be more proud.

ONE TEAM. ONE FAMILY. ALL HEART.
